Professional Experience:

Working as an Electrical Engineer with International Power (www.ipplc.com) at Hub Power Plant. The total generating capacity of plant is 1292MW, comprising four units of 323MW each. We are maintaining the standards of ISO9001:2000 (Quality Management System), ISO14001:2004(Environmental Management System) & ROSPA Level 5(Health & Safety). At present I am performing my duties in Electrical Department and have hands on experience of

 

• 500 KV Line protection testing through FREJA (ABB protection system: Distance relays, Fuse failure relay, Differential relay, Over current relay, Over/under voltage relay, Synchro check relay, Breaker failure relay, Auto reclosure relay, Trip circuit supervision relay etc and their loop check and intertripping test i.e. signal check through power line carrier)
• Generator, motor, transformer, LV and MV boards maintenance, inspection and protection testing through FREJA and SEVERKER
• Installation, configuration and testing of new relays if the existing relays found faulty during testing or running time
• HV testing (Hipot, Capacitance & Dissipation Factor, RSO and Magering)
• Motor control center and Switch gear maintenance (6.6KV & 380V)
• Overhauling and trouble shooting of LV/HV motors and MOV (Motor operated valve)
• Trouble shooting and modify drawing (SLD, schematic and logic drawings)
• Planning and reviewing of preventive and break down maintenance activities
• Modifications in electrical circuits as and when required for system improvement
• Preparation and reviewing of technical procedures and check sheets
• Spares arrangement
• Recruitment of technical staff within the Electrical Section
• Familiar with safety rules, permit system and risk assessment
